Defence Bank is celebrating 10 years of the Defence Bank Foundation. Over the decade, the Foundation has cultivated the Defence Community Dogs program. The program provides highly trained assistance dogs to Australian Defence Force veterans.
Trained in specific tasks to support veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), these dogs help veterans rebuild their lives – and in some cases literally save their lives. The Foundation has already provided 60 dogs to veterans.
